“I have always been uncomfortable getting my headshots taken but Tim has always made me feel comfortable. As of now I have hired him to photograph my first album cover and my head shots for 15 years in a row! I highly recommend hiring Tim for your photograph needs.”
Sam Witwer – actor – musician
Working with Tim was awesome. We had a great time making what’s typically difficult seem easy. I’ve never been
good at taking headshots but Tim made it easy and fun! Worth it.
Christopher Sean – actor
“Recently, I had the great pleasure of working with Tim Sabatino on a sizzle reel for the
upcoming feature film, “Hometown Hollywood.” Tim was a consummate professional throughout
the process, being always prepared, efficient, focused, and sure of the vision he wanted to
create. Tim is highly personable and made the process fun, immediately making everyone on
set relaxed and ready to give our best. Because of his great personality and work ethic, Tim won
the respect of all cast and crew, and that is of paramount importance when trying to complete
any project, successfully. I look forward to working with Tim in the future, and know that all who
are fortunate to share that opportunity will have an amazing time while seeing all of their film
goals come to fruition.”
Stephen Thompson – actor – Delta Air Pilot
“Tim is a fantastic director. He runs great control on set with grips and assistants and the
producers. The thing I love about his directing is he really rolls with the flow in terms of the
actors and favors the natural circumstances and “mistakes” that happen during each take. And
that makes it so enjoyable and fun for everyone on set while achieving the goal of the shot.
Multiple people commented on how natural and confident he was while in his element behind
The camera. Excited to create more with Tim!”
Palmer Dernehl
Production: Hometown Hollywood
“I had a wonderful experience working with Tim. As our fearless leader, he kept a calm yet
positive and fun presence on set. He kept everyone smiling – allowing us to relax and create to
the best of our abilities. Although this was my first time working with him, I instantly trusted him
and had full confidence in his work. He’s an industry professional who I can’t wait to work with
again!”
Rachel Gallagher
“I am so thrilled with my photo shoot with Tim Sabatino; not only did my photos turn out to be beautiful and everything I could have wished for, but he has such a creative eye and joyful presence, that the entire day was a wonderful experience. If you are planning new pictures, Tim should be your first choice!”
Rebecca Holden – Actress
Working with Tim was probably the first time in 14 years that I’ve gotten really good headshots. Not only did the
photos come out beautifully, but he was so much fun to work with. I was initially feeling rather nervous about getting
my headshots done, but Tim made me feel very comfortable and even gave me some helpful advice about the
industry! He was incredibly professional throughout the entire shoot, and the pictures that came out of it are further
proof that he really knows what he’s doing. Headshots can notoriously be quite expensive, but Tim was definitely
worth it. Thank you, Tim! Seriously, thank you!!!!
Bianca Mio – actor – ballerina – model
“Working with Tim was pure joy. He was a great support before the shot and knew exactly what he was doing at all stages. When I saw the pictures, I felt really grateful for meeting him; he really picked up my brain! He’s a sensitive and super professional photographer. I can’t wait to work with him again. Thank you, Tim!!!”
Denise Reddy – Fashion Designer at Harebell Group
“Tim Sabatino has been shooting my head shots for over a decade now. That alone speaks volumes on what amazing job he does. I don’t normally like taking pictures, but he makes me feel very comfortable in front of the camera and I always love my head shots! Most importantly, I get a great response from casting directors. What more could you want. I’ll never go anywhere else! Loyal fan for life!”
Karen May – Actress, Comedian

“Not only am I an actor who recently hired Tim Sabatino for new headshots but an Emmy-winning ex-TV news consumer reporter, as well. I mention this because Tim’s work & the man himself have earned such a review from both perspectives. If you’re doing your due diligence like I did, trying to find the perfect place to invest a considerable but justifiable amount of coin to further your career as an actor or professional, please read-on!
After deep-diving into five highly-touted LA photographers, all with websites showcasing spectacular work, I found myself clicking back to Tim Sabatino’s. His background as a film director & 20+ years experience getting the right shots at the perfect resolution for loading onto casting websites put him ahead of the pack. But it was what he did all-through our 2.5 hour shoot (yeah, I needed a ton of looks) that really elevated him to a level of “Pro” that I’d never seen before (and I’ve been working in front of cameras for 35 years).
Tim’s a US Navy veteran & doesn’t waste a minute during the shoot, after spending initial time with him on the phone and during the wardrobe off-load, etc., getting to know you and your needs. Sturdy wardrobe racks & a clean bathroom are right there for you, as well as a hair and make-up person for a little extra.
For our shoot, Tim used ALL natural light during the Golden Hour with some reflectors, multiple instant set-ups of real stone walls, iron pieces and wood buildings that all have served functional purposes for decades. You really feel like you’re working as a team there, firing suggestions back-&-forth (his are better than yours, trust me). He plays to your strengths & works around your limitations – I am a broken-neck survivor & struggled giving him some angles, but he found ways to get really great shots and did everything effortlessly, it seemed.
As I used to run consumer units at several TV stations, I came to the ranch a little tense with the urge to control some things. Tim made it easy for me to let that go & just trust his instincts – boy, were they good…and I couldn’t be happier! Tim knocked each look out of the park!
All of this was not inexpensive and, with four kids in their teens & 20s, I am not a wealthy man. But it IS justifiable (not to mention a tax write-off ;). You must realize how crucial the right headshots are to opening doors. They show the folks who decide your chances with a click of the mouse whether you “get it”, whether you are serious about your craft. It’s just foolish to think, at a time when casting has 3000 little boxes in front of them for each role, that you’ll make it into their fold without something professional. Why not go to one of the most professional of the professionals?
As a consumer guy & working actor seeking to work a lot more, I can say without reservation Tim Sabatino can give you some of the best tools in your toolbox! Oh yeah- he’s a director and creates reels, too!
Thanks, Tim, for all you did for me and all you do for everyone at any level of their careers who needs to bump-up their arsenals!”
